Enduring long sessions, the Morris County Swim Club took part in two meets this past weekend, the 12&U and 13&O Silver/Bronze NJS Long Course Championships. The 4-hour session rule does not apply to championship meets. The 12&U meet was held at Princeton University and for the MCSC, Friday & Saturday evenings.

Scoring improved times in all six of their events, Nick Brita, Elias Getahoun & Madi Molinaro led the club to 78 personal records. Leon Xie swam to 5 personal bests, including 2 new Gold cuts. Eric Liu & Nicholas Caporaso also improved in 5 events. Liu cut 8.67 seconds in his M10U 100 Free. With 4 personal records were Vincent Brita, Owen Curry, Grace Miller, Roma Razdan & Shelton Shieh. Annie Webber slashed 23 seconds in her W11-12 400 Free.  (Results)

Jacob Dino, Garrett Jones, Tyler McDonald and Shelby Steere dropped time in all six of their events at the 13 & Over Silver Bronze Championships held at Rutgers University July 19 & 20. Dino didn't need any help, crushing his M13-14 100 Back previous mark by more than 8-seconds. Jones improved his dad's highlight reel with his 6 better times for his ipad videos. McDonald had the officials scrambling to see if he finished 1-lap short, dropping 55-seconds in the M13-14 400 Free. Shelby Steere picked up a new Silver time in the W15&O 50 Free as part of her 6 best. With improved times in relay lead-off 50 Free's, Juliann Stiles & Michael Stiles also earned 6 personal records each. Setting best times in 5 events were Matthew Carey and Robby Rieger. The MCSC set 101 personal records. Swimmers from the MCSC took in fourteen Top-3 finishes.  (Results) (Top Times reports updated)
