RAGING RED-HOT R'S ROLL

At the first meet of the 2014-2015 swim year, all six of the swimmers with last names beginning with the letter “R” swam to best times in all of their events. At the Fall Festival, Robby Rieger led the group with seven personal records. With six personal records in all of their events wre Nathan Rauchbach, Zachary Rauchbach, Ian Reo and Steph Rice. Adding three of three personal records for her one day of the meet was Roma Razdan. Razdan dropped more than 10 seconds in both her W13-14 100 Breaststroke and 100 Freestyle. Rieger swam all three days of the meet, starting with a thirteen second drop in the M 400IM and ended with a five second drop in his final event on Sunday in the M13-14 200 Backstroke. Nathan Rauchbach earned four new Silver times, brother Zachary collected two new Silvers and Ian Reo swam to new Silver in the M11-12 50 Freestyle. Dennis DeLargy won big at the meet with four 1sts and 6 Gold personal records. MCSC provided support for Breast Cancer Awareness month at the Condors Fall Festival, donating $100 and wearing Breast Cancer Awareness tattoos. (Results)

The Morris County Swim Club trains at the Morristown-Beard School in Morristown and the County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. Members live in towns throughout Morris County NJ, from more than 20 area towns. Current members come from as far north as Kinnelon, Montville and Jefferson Township; west from Chester & Succasunna, south from Basking Ridge and Bernardsville and east from West Orange, Chatham and East Hanover. Local towns Randolph, Denville, Morris Township, Morristown, Florham Park, Mountain Lakes, Madison, Mendham, Mt Tabor, Boonton Twp, Parsippany and others are represented too.
