Fees & Responsibilites
There are no hidden fees or required fund-raising thresholds. USA Swimming and NJ Swimming registration and most meet fees are included in the pricing. If your athlete is participating in a meet, the parent(s) take a turn timing. Taking part in fund-raisers is optional, though we request that all parents help out where they can. The MCSC supports NJ Swimming and encourages parents to train as officials. Those parents do receive a discount representing our thanks for their contribution. We plan to host meets as another way of supporting NJ Swimming. To do this, parental support will be needed to provide the swimmers with well run meets.
View the registration forms for complete pricing and options.
Cash or check payments to an MCSC coach at practice or mailing address: MCSC, 5 Paula Ct, Denville, NJ 07834. Checks payable to Cash, MCSC or Morris County Swim Club.
Fees are for reserving practice time, not actual practices. No credits for missed practices, though the MCSC encourages make-ups. Every effort should be made to get make-ups in within 2-weeks, before or after the missed practice.
The "monthly" fee is not based on the number of swim days in a given month. Monthly fee is based on total yearly fee divided by 11 (July & August count as 1 month). Members are responsible for fees for the months they sign up, but only through the current month of the date that they contact registration@mcscnj.com requesting a change.
All Members Annual Registration $40.

Fund Raising Requirement is $0. No member is required to take part in fund raising activities.
Volunteering – There is no penalty fee for not volunteering to help. However, if your swimmer takes part in meets, parents are required to take a turn with the timing assignment, if we have one. This is usually no more than 30 minutes. If the MCSC hosts a meet, we request that everyone tries to help out. Hosting meets is a revenue producing activity for the club and hosting helps offset club costs and may provide for a rebate to volunteering parents. The only "exception" or work requirement is that parents of swimmers participating in the, MCSC Co-Hosted, Short Course 13-19 Silver/Bronze meet are required to work any session their swimmers are taking part. Those helping, with swimmers involved or not, share in the income produced from the meet in the form of a rebate towards the next years swim fee, as a way to keep your annual fee lower.
Team swimwear is for members taking part in meets. Team suits and swim caps are required.
Swim fins are required for practices and are available for purchase through the coaches at practice.
Fee and programs subject to change without notice. More details are available on the registration forms.
