This is a meet that's really a practice. It'll be a practice meet, in a relaxed atmosphere for the swimmers. At the meet, parents will be needed to be timers, marshals, officials and working the computer. Review the sign up sheet.
Swimmers should arrive 10 minutes before warm up. Swimmers should know their events and event numbers before arriving at the pool. Meet is pre-seeded, revised as of Friday 1pm and Heat and Lane assignments are available. Click refresh if the file doesn't say "Revised and Final". Warm up will begin promptly at 4pm. There will be an officials meeting at 4:05 and a parents timer meeting at 4:20. Both meetings will be near the starting blocks. Event marshals will line up swimmers by event, by heat on the far side of the pool and direct the swimmers to behind the blocks as appropriate. There will be three timers per lane. Timer sheets will be collected by Runners, who will turn in sheets to the computer desk for input.
The meet will run quickly and should be done by 6pm, though be prepared for longer! Have fun and enjoy the meet.
