Silver times were earned by Matt Ahlmeyer, Nicole Harris, Stephanie Harris, Shannon Keller, Ted Krajkowski, Catherine Kruger, Matt Linz, Garrett Pullis, Brian Stiles, Jessica Stiles, Allison Vilchinsky, Jackie Viotto, Jamie Viotto, Amanda Wisolmerski, Ryan Wyer and Leanne Zaug. Many other have moved very close to attaining Silver or Gold times including Patrick Bauer, Charlie Passalacqua, Amanda Wisolmerski, Leanne Zaug who are less than 1 second away and Jessica Stiles, Matt Linz, Nicole Harris, Taylor Good, Ashley Attinello and Kristina Beaudouin who are 2 seconds or less. There are swimmers very close in longer events too, with new best times in 200's by Alyssa Wagner, Leanne Zaug, Jackie Viotto, Annie Shaffer, Allison Vilchinsky and Kristina BThere were over 150 new Best Times made at the meet by so many MCSC athletes.

Campo & Tomensky Lead Hall Charge
Brittany Campo and Scott Tomensky, both
of Denville, each set new Best Times in all 6 events they entered at
the 2-day Seton Hall Invitational swim meet.
Campo improved in the W13-14 200 Free
by 3.12 to finish 2:28.52, 100 Free by .59 in 1:09.33 and 50 Free by
.30 in 31.51. She also cut time in the 100 Back to finish 1:21.79, an
improvement of 2.29, 200 IM in 2:47.80, 1.72 seconds better and the
100 Breast in 1:30.11, cutting 2.12.
Tomensky slashed time in his events,
cutting 17.24 in the M13-14 200 Free to finish 2:36.00, 100 Free by
.95 in 1:10.05 and 50 Free by 2.22 in 30.30. His other improvements
came in the 100 Fly in 1:27.03, slicing 14.54, 200 IM in 3:00.64
cutting 25.21 and the 100 Breast in 1:33.77, dropping 6.17.
The athletes compete for the Morris
County Swim Club and led the club to 155 Best Times. This is Campo’s
2nd year with the MCSC and 1st for Tomensky.
Campo also swims for Morris Knolls.
Fellow Denville athlete, Garrett Pullis
followed up their performances with 6 Best Times of his own. Four of
the finishes were Gold times, qualifying him for the NJ Swimming
Short Course Junior Olympics at Rutgers in March. His biggest
improvement came in the M13-14 400 IM, dropping 15.79 with a finish
in 4:52.57 and a 1st Place finish. Brian Stiles also
earned a Gold and 1st Place in the M11-12 200 IM along
with 4 Silver times, earning entry in the final qualifying meet for
the Junior Olympics. Sister Jessica earned 2 Silver times and 2nd
Place finishes, slashing 20.44 to finish the W11-12 100 Fly in
1:23.64 and 29.80 in the 50 Free. Stephanie Harris earned 3 Silver
times, a 45.06 in the 10&U 50 Breast, 1:40.85 in the 100 Breast
and breaking the 3-minute mark in the 200 Free to finish 2:54.45.
Sister Nicole earned a Silver in the W13-14 100 Fly finishing in
1:13.13. Catherine Kruger set a new mark, earning Silver in the
W11-12 200 Back in 3:00.11 and setting Best Times in 4 other events.
A whole host of other Denville athletes
improved times as well. Alyssa Wagner with 3 improved times,
including a 3:15.32 W13-14 200 Breast, within 4 seconds of a Silver
time and a 5th Place finish. Andrew Strelec earned 2,
including a 3:09.23 in the M11-12 200 Free, 15.24 better. Juliann
Stiles took 5.16 from her W10&U 50 Back. Brother Michael also
competed as did Jay DeAlessi. Annie Shaffer dropped time in 3 events,
including a 3:13.51 in the W11-12 200 Back, chopping off 34.64.
Sister Molly cut time in her W10&U 100IM. Shannon Hughes
improved in her W13-14 200 Breast and 200 IM. Her Katie Scoville,
dropped time in the W15-19 100 Back. She also competes for Morris
Knolls.

Wyer Carries Gold Home From Seton Hall
Ryan Wyer of Montville swam to 3 Gold
Times and 1 Silver at the Seton Hall Invitational, competing for the
Morris County Swim Club. The Gold times qualifies Wyer to compete in
the NJ Swimming Short Course Junior Olympics to be held at Rutgers in
March.
Wyer scored a 1st Place and
Gold in the M11-12 200 Breast, finishing in 3:01.99, a 2ndnd
Place in the 200 IM, finishing 2:38.14. Wyer also had a 3rd
Place finish and Silver time in the 200 Free in 2:20.01. The Silver
time qualifies Wyer for te final qualifying meet for the Junior
Olympics.
Place and Gold in the 200 Back in 2:40.81, and a Gold and 2
Ted Krajkowski of Mount Tabor also
earned Silver times in 2 events. He scored a 2ndth Place
and Silver in the 200 Free in 2:15.25. The 500 Free finish also
qualified Krajkowski for the NJ Jr. Age Group Championships, held
this past weekend in Raritan. He improved his time further with a
5:50. 24, good for 35th Best in NJ Swimming’s 14&U
Meet. Krajkowski also made a new Best time in the 200 Breast,
finishing in 3:20.24. Place and
Silver in the M13-14 500 Free in 5:52.74 and a 5
From Boonton Twp, Lisa Pinney improved
in 4 of her 6 events. Pinney slashed 20.59 from the W11-12 200 Free
to finish 3:02.58, cut 5.68 from her 100 Breast to finish 2:00.81,
9.67 in the 200 Breast to finish 4:21.23 and finished the 100 Free in
1:24.64.
Kinnelon athlete Ankit Khosla slashed
4.72 to finish his M10&U 50 Free in 50.03.

Pullis Sweeps Up Hall Gold
Competing for the Morris County Swim
Club, Garrett Pullis of Denville moved up to a new Agre Group and
quickly established his competitive reputation in the 13-14 bracket
with 4 Gold Times, 4 First and 2 Second Place finishes at the Seton
Hall Invitational. The Gold Times qualified Pullis for the NJ
Swimming Junior Olympics at Rutgers University in March. Pullis’ 6
improved times led his 57 MCSC teammates to 155 new Best Times.
Pullis dropped 15.79 from the M13-14
400 IM to finish first in 4:52.57. His other first place finishes
were the 100 Fly in 1:02.75, 200 Fly in 2:22.00 and 100 Breast in
1:11.61. He earned Silver Times in his second place finishes in the
200 Breast and Back Strokes. The Silver times qualify Pullis for the
Silver Cahmpionships, the final qualifying meet for the Junior
Olympics. His 200 Back finish was a mere 7 10ths of a second from a
Gold time.
Brian Stiles also earned a Gold and 1st
Place in the M11-12 200 IM with a time of 2:35.16 along with 4 Silver
times in the 100 Breast & Fly and 200 Breast & Fly. Sister
Jessica earned 2 Silver times and 2nd Place finishes,
slashing 20.44 to finish the W11-12 100 Fly in 1:23.64 and 29.80 in
the 50 Free. Stephanie Harris earned 3 Silver times, a 45.06 in the
10&U 50 Breast, 1:40.85 in the 100 Breast and breaking the
3-minute mark in the 200 Free to finish 2:54.45. Sister Nicole earned
a 1st Place finish in the W13-14 50 Free in 28.29, a 2nd
Place in the 200 Back in 2:32.34, a 3rd Place in the 200
Breast in 3:07.11 and a Silver in the W13-14 100 Fly finishing in
1:13.13. Catherine Kruger set a new mark, earning Silver in the
W11-12 200 Back in 3:00.11 and setting Best Times in 4 other events.

Vilchinsky Discovers Silver
Allison Vilcinsky of Mendham swam to
personal Best Times to gain Silver status competing for the Morris
County Swim Club at the Seton Hall Invitational Jan 20-21. The Silver
Times qualify the athlete for entry in the Silver Championships at St
Peters, the final qualifier for the NJ Swimming Junior Olympics to be
held in March at Rutgers University. A W11-12 100 Fly time of 1:19.15
brought Vilchinsky a Silver and a 3rdnd
Silver. Her other improvements came in the 100 IM to finish in
1:20.20 and sliced 3.35 in the 100 Breast to finish 1:38.62. Place finish. She

Jenny Rosenblatt of Randolph made her
competitive swimming debut with the Morris County Swim Club at the
Seton Hall Invitational Jan 20-21. She swam to Best Times in 5 of her
6 events. Rosenblatt earned a 2:36.02 in the W13-14 200 Free, 1:29.18
100 Back, 1:14.12 100 Free, 3:10.47 200 IM and 1:45.54 100 Breast,
all personal Best Times.
Matt Linz dropped 3.35 in the M10&U
100 Back and earned Silver Times in the 50 Fly in 42.42 and 100 Free
in 1:20.54. The Silver Times qualify the athlete for entry in the
Silver Championships at St Peters, the final qualifier for the NJ
Swimming Junior Olympics to be held in March at Rutgers University.
Megan Brophy cut time from 4 of 6
events. Brophy finished the W11-12 200 Free in 3:01.98, dropping
16.07, 50 Free in 33.28, 100 IM in 1:26.64 and 100 Breast in 1:37.97.
Ashley Attinello sliced time in 3 events, taking 4.91 from the W13-14
200 Free in 2:29.27, 50 Free in 30.04 and the 200 IM in 2:57.12,
breaking through the 3-minute barrier. Catherine Barrow slashed 19.95
from her W10&U 200 Free to finish at 3:20.56.

Wislomerski & Zaug Gain Silver
Amanda Wislomerski and Leanne Zaug of
Florham Park swam to personal Best Times to gain Silver status
competing for the Morris County Swim Club at the Seton Hall
Invitational Jan 20-21. The Silver Times qualify the athletes for
entry in the Silver Championships at St Peters, the final qualifier
for the NJ Swimming Junior Olympics to be held in March at Rutgers
University.
Zaug captured her Silver Times in 2
Second Place finishes in contrasting events. She earned a 27.59 in
the W13-14 50 Free and braved through a 5:40.99 400 IM. Zaug also cut
time in the 200 Free to 2:14.42 and 200 IM in 2:38.98.
Wisolmerski finished the W11-12 200
Free in 2:30.06 and 200 Breast in 3:15.32. She also cut time in the
50 Free to finish 4th in 30.64. Not to be outdone, sister
Chrissy improved in 4 of her events, taking 10.85 from the W13-14
200 IM to fnish 2:56.65, a 1:31.12 100 Back, 34.86 50 Free and
1:34.39 100 Breast.
Kristina Beaudouin from Madison also
had an excellent showing at the meet by improving in 5 of 6 events.
She ticked off 6.80 from her W13-14 200 Free to finish 2:27.83, 1.96
in the 100 Fly for a 1:18.21, 4.20 in the 200 Breast in 3:14.04, 2.44
in the 200 IM in 2:46.56 and .76 in the 50 Free in 30.06.
From East Hanover, Reagan Lyle trimmed
1.13 seconds from his M10&U 100 IM to finish 2:27.94.
Chatham athlete Maire Psomas-Jackloski
improved in her 3 events. She cut 10.44 from her W10&U 100 IM to
finish 1:43.92, took 3.86 to finish 39.55 in the 50 Free and .77 in
the 50 Breast to finish 56.76.

Alhmeyer & Viotto Make Gold
Matt Ahlmeyer of Morris Plains and
Jamie Viotto of Morris Township each made Gold Times at the Seton
Hall Invitational Swim Meet Jan 20-21. The Gold Times qualify the
athletes for the NJ Swimming Junior Olympics at Rutgers in March.
Ahlmeyer sliced 5.88 seconds off his
previous time for a 2nd Place 2:41.95 finish and Gold in
the M11-12 200 Fly. He also earned 2 Silver Times, in the 200 IM in
2:40.68 and 200 Free in 2:23.37. The Silver Times qualify Ahlmeyer
for the Silver Championships, the final Junior Olympic qualifier.
Viotto made his Gold Time in the M10&U
200 Free, cutting 13.52 from his previous time to finish in 4th
Place in 2:41.75. This was Viotto’s first Gold qualifying time in
his promising young career. He also earned Silver times in 2 events
with a 43.11 50 Back and 53.64 50 Breast. His sister Jackie also
earned 2 Silver times in Butterfly events, with a1:14.06 W13-14 100
Fly and 2:44.31 200 Fly. Her 200 Fly performance was good for a 1st
Place finish. Brother Justin competed in the M10&U events. Also
from Morris Twp, Amanda Caffrey competed on Saturday but an illness
kept her from the competition on Sunday.
Rachel Ahlmeyer broke the 2-minute
barrier in setting a new personal mark of 1:59.86 in the W10&U
100 IM. Other Morris Plains athletes included Shannon Keller, who
earned two Silver Times with a 3:00.30 for the W10&U 200 Free and
1:34.41 in the 100 Back. She also improved in the 50 & 100 Breast
strokes. Bianca Karpinski improved in he W10&U 100 IM with a time
of 1:53.48, 6.19 better and clocked in with a Best Time in her 50
Breast in 1:08.41.
From Morristown, athlete Summer Betzel
made an excellent showing at the meet by improving in her three
events. Betzel broke the 3-minute barrier with a 2:54.35 in the
W11-12 200 Free, an improvement of 19.08. She also was 7.12 better
with a 1:37.93 in the 100 Fly and 0.67 improved in the 50 Free. Julia
Hall also set new marks in her three events, a 25.14 improvement in
the W10&U 100 Breast in 2:03.55, 50 Back in 43.90 and 50 Fly in
47.51. Gabrielle Ferrara chopped 37.81 to finish 1:50.24 in the W10&U
100 IM and 3.50 in the 50 Free to finish 39.05. Maddie Lapsley in her
first meet since a protracted foot injury had kept her out of
competition made the most of her comeback and improved in 5 of 6
events. She earned a 2:53.76 W11-12 200 Free, 1:37.88 100 Back, 35.65
50 Free, 1:21.14 100 Free and a 1:59.46 100 Breast. Sadly, she
re-injured her foot a few days after the meet and will have to take
more time off. Mary Reilly also took time off from 5 of her 6 events.
Reilly sliced 17.40 to finish the W10&U 100 Free in 1:24.04,
14.11 in the 100 Back in 1:40.06, and trimming time in the 50 Free,
50 Back and 50 Fly. Maggie and Ryan Servais also competed with Maggie
taking 25.51 off to finish her W10&U 100 IM in 1:58.68. Patrick
Bauer competed for the first time in the M10&U 100 Breast and
finished in a gutsy 2:22.42 and took time off in 3 events, the 100
Back, 50 Free and 50 Back.
Fara Cohen of Convent Station continued
improving and earned 4 Best Times. Cohen dropped 7.15 to finish
1:31.83 in the W10&U 100 Free, 1.29 for a 37.95 50 Free, cutting
2.68 for a 1:43.90 100 IM and 1.53 in the 50 Breast to finish 51.50.
