Wyer Excels at Princeton
Competing for the Morris County Swim
Club, Ryan Wyer of Montville set personal Best Times in 3 events at
the X-Cellence Swim Meet January 14. Wyer led start to finish in his
heat for a Gold time performance in the M11-12 200 Breast in a time
of 3:02.26. The Gold time qualified Wyer for entry in the NJ Swimming
Short Course Junior Olympics in March at Rutgers University. Wyer
also earned Gold with a 1:02.94 in the 100 Free and took 4.11 seconds
off in his 500 Free time of 6:28.87.
Also finishing with Best Times and
earning Gold for the MCSC were Denville athletes Garrett Pullis in
the M11-12 100 Back in 1:06.25 and Brian Stiles in the M11-12 200IM
in 2:36.02. Personal Best Times and Silver qualifying times were set
by Nicole Harris in the W13-14 100 Back in 1:10.62 and Stephanie
Harris in the W10&U 100 Breast in 1:41.82. The Silver times
qualify the athletes for entry in the NJ Swimming Silver
Championships, the final Junior Olympics qualifier.
Denville athletes earning Best Times
included Anna Baccaglini in a 7:22.97 W11-12 500 Free, Nicole Harris
6:17.49 W13-14 500 Free, Shannon Hughes 1:04.87 W13-14 100 Free,
1:21.26 100 Back, Annie Shaffer 3:34.52 W11-12 200IM, Molly Shaffer
2:01.60 W10&U 100IM, Jessica Stiles 1:10.34 W11-12 100 Free,
Juliann Stiles 1:09.63 W10&U 50 Back, Michael Stiles 1:58.53
M10&U 100IM and Alyssa Wagner with a 1:10.64 100 Free and 6:57.33
500 Free. Wagner improved her 500 Free by 36 seconds! Andrew Strelec
also competed.
From Mt Tabor, Ted Krajkowski set a new
Best and Silver Time in the 500 Free in a time of 5:53.76. Krajkowski
also set a Best Time in the 100 Free in 1:04.30.
From Mountain Lakes, Madison Clifton
set 2 Best Times with a 1:33.95 W11-12 100 Back and 3:37.61 in the
200IM.

Shaffer Sisters Earn Marks at
Princeton
Competing for the Morris Coutny Swim
Club, sisters Annie and Molly Shaffer set personal Best Times
attending the X-Cellence Swim Meet held at DeNunzio Pool on the
Princeton University campus. Annie earned a Best Time with a 3:34.52
in the W11-12 200IM, taking 6.35 seconds from her old time. Molly
earned her mark with a 2:01.60 in the W10&U 100IM, an improvement
of 3.20.
Also finishing with Best Times and
earning Gold for the MCSC were Denville athletes Garrett Pullis in
the M11-12 100 Back in 1:06.25 and Brian Stiles in the M11-12 200IM
in 2:36.02. Personal Best Times and Silver qualifying times were set

Barrow Excels at Princeton
Catherine Barrow of Randolph set two
Best Times competing for the Morris County Swim Club at the
X-Cellence Swim Meet held at Princeton University. Barrow finished
the W10&U 50 Back in 50.10, an improvement of 3.66 seconds and a
4.01 improvement in the 100IM, finishing in 1:51.01.
Megan Brophy set Best Times in her 3
events. Brophy finished the W11-12 200IM in 3:15.45, 100 Back in
1:32.09 and 100 Free in 1:16.13. Ashley Attinello swam to a Best Time
of 6:47.20 in the W13-14 500 Free. Matt Linz set a M10&U 100
Breast mark of 1:48.22. Marc Attinello also competed.

Florham Park, Madison, Chatham
Chrissy Sparkles at Princeton
Chrissy Wisolmerski of Florham Park
competed at the X-Cel Meet at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton University
and earned a personal Best Time in the W13-14 500 Free. Improving her
time by 32.05 seconds, Wisolmerski finished in a time of 6:52.93. She
also set a Best Time in the 100 Free, finishing 1:14.31.
Also setting new marks in the 500 Free
were Florham Park athletes W11-12 Amanda Wisolmerski in 6:34.79 an
improvement of 23.32 and W13-14 Leanne Zaug in 6:02.16, a 14.30
improvement. Austyn Zaug improved his M13-14 200 Breast with a time
of 3:53.62.
From Madison, Zinta Putenis set Best
Times in the W11-12 200IM in 2:46.63 and 100 Free in 1:06.78.
Kristina Beaudouin earned a 6:46.89 in the W113-14 500 Free.
East Hanover athlete Reagan Lyle set a
Best Time in the M10&U 100IM in 2:29.07.

Caffrey Trio Earn Best Marks at
Princeton
Amanda, Brian and Joey Caffrey of
Morristown earned personal Best Times competing for the Morris County
Swim Club at the X-Cellence Swim Meet held at DeNunzio Pool on the
campus of Princeton University. Amanda swam to a 3:56.62 in the
W11-12 200 Breast and also set a new mark in the 100 Back in 1:37.63.
7Yr old Joey completed the M10&U 100IM in 2:08.69, 50 Back in
1:00.28 and 50 Free in 53.62. Brother Brian swam the M10&U 50
Back in 45.47.
Ryan and Maggie Servais of Morristown
also made personal Best Times. Ryan earned his grades with a M11-12
100 Back time of 1:49.43 and 100 Free time of 1:35.31. Maggie
finished with a Best Time of 57.80 in the W10&U 50 Back and 45.54
for the 50 Free. Both athletes are new members of the MCSC. Gabrielle
Ferrara set a Best Time of 42.55 in the W10&U 50 Free, while
Julia Hall finished the W10&U 100IM in 1:41.57, a personal best.
Patrick Bauer dropped 2.01 in his M10&U 100IM. Erin Hession also
competed.
From Morris Plains, Matt & Rachael
Ahlmeyer each set new marks. Matt earned Silver, charging to a
1:14.14 finish in theM11-12 100 Back. The Silver times qualified him
for the Silver Championships to be held at Rutgers in Marach. Sister
Rachel swam to a 2:01.03 in the W10&U 100IM and 49.71 for the 50
Back. Bianca Karpinski also improved in the W10&U 100IM with a
1:59.67 while Shannon Keller dropped time in the same event to
1:33.29.
Fara Cohen of Convent Station continued
the improvements for the MCSC in the 10&U 100IM with a time of
1:46.58 and also cut time from the 50 Free to finish 39.24.
Jackie Viotto of Morris Township
dropped 24.46 in the W13-14 500 Free with a time of 6:09.83 and cut
time to finish 1:18.81 in the 100 Back. Brothers Jamie and Joey also
competed at Princeton.
