Head Coach Jenn Ciulla of Madison had good things to say about the swimmers efforts:
All of the 8 and unders
were prepared
to race the best they could. They were only practicing for 6 weeks but
they have been great listeners and try so hard at practices. When we
all arrived at the meet, the swimmers were excited but nervous about
getting into the water to compete. After calming nerves and making
every
swimmer comfortable, they competed better than I could have imagined.
Not
one swimmer missed an event, and everyone of them got out of the pool
with a smile on their face. I was so excited for them as they came
over to me after every race to ask how they did, all I could say was
"Excellent swim, I am soooo proud of you, keep up your enthusiasm and energy for all your races."
