Pullis earned
Gold in the M1000 Free, with a 4th Place finish in a time of
11:31.65. Stiles struck Gold in 3 events, the M500 Free in 6:06.82,
M11-12 200 Free in 2:14.16 for a 2nd Place and M11-12 200 Back in
2:35.33 also a 2nd Place finish. He also finished 3rd in
the M11-12 200IM with a time of 2:45.00, all events new Best Times.
Also from
Denville and improving in all of their events were Katie Scoville
with a 12:41.34 in the 1000Free, Alyssa Wagner with 4 Best Times in
the 1000Free, W13-14 200Free, 200Back and 200 Breast, Brittany Campo
churned out 4 Best Times in the 1000Free, W13-14 200Free, 200Back and
200IM and Andrew Strelec. Strelec earned Silver Times in the M10&U
100 Free, M10&U 100 Back and M10&U 100 Fly. Catherine Kruger
improved by 10.49 in the W11-12 200Free, 9.84 in the 200Breast and
12.01 in the 500Free. Annie Shaffer posted a 2:59.23 in the W11-12
200Free and 7:44.61 in the 500Free. Jessica Stiles trimmed 3.20 in
the W11-12 200Free, 8.81 in the 500Free and slashed 18.86 in the
200IM. Anna Baccaglini cut 6.15 from the W11-12 200Free and 15.03 in
the 500Free to finish 7:29.88. Nicole Harris swam to a 12:44.33 in
the 1000Free. New for MCSC, Shannon Hughes finished 6:38.66 in the
500Free, Scott Tomensky finished 2:53.24 in the M13-14 200Free,
3:15.59 for 200Back and 3:25.85 for the 200IM and Jay DeAlessi swam
1:47.54 in the M10&U 100Free, 2:02.58 in the 100Back and 2:07.24
in the 100Breast.
Ahlmeyer struck
Gold with a 2:39.66 in the M11-12 200 Back, a 3rd Place finish. He
swam 2:28.82 in the M11-12 200 Free and earned Silver Times in two
events with 3:18.72 in the M11-12 200 Breast and 6:26.72 in the M500
Free.
From Randolph,
new MCSC swimmer Ashley Attinello swam to a 2:34.18 in the W13-14
200Free, 3:23.95 in the 200Back and 3:32.84 in the 200Breast.
Catherine Barrow took away 7.28 seconds in the W10&U 100Free and
8.24 in the 100Breast.
Madison swimmer
Kristina Beaudouin improved in all events and made Silver Times in
the W11-12 200 Back in 2:49.43. She also finished 2:34.63 in the
200Free and 2:53.28 in the 200IM and is new to the MCSC.
From Morristown,
Amanda Caffrey improved in all events chopping 12.64 to 3:15.14 in
the W11-12 200Free, 14.03 to finish 4:07.28 in the 200Breast and
21.74 to 3:23.31 in the 12&U 200IM. New for MCSC Erin Hession
swam the W10&U 100Free in 1:29.33 and 100Back in 1:50.44 and
Mary Reilly swam W10&U events 100Free in 1:41.44, 100Back in
1:54.17 and 100Breast in 1:54.32.
New MCSC Convent
Station representative Fara Cohen competed in the W10&U 100Free
in 1:49.74 and 100Breast in 2:01.52.
Jefferson athlete
Courtney Good swam the W13-14 200Free in 2:24.56 and 200IM in
2:39.65.
From Mt Tabor,
Ted Krajkowski started the year as he finished last year continuing
improvements in all events with a 12:29.37 in the 1000Free, 2:23.13
in the M13-14 200Free and 3:00.01 in the 200Back, which was an
improvement of 73.89 seconds.
Boonton’s Lisa
Pinney improved in the W12&U 200IM to 3:43.15 and 200Breast in
4:30.90.
From Chatham, new
MCSC swimmer Maire Psomes-Jackloski finished in 1:28.21 in the W10&U
100Free, 1:49.77 in the 100Back and 2:09.29 in the 100Breast.
From Mendham,
Allison Vilchinsky swam the 500Free in 7:02.49.
Morris Township
athlete Jackie Viotto swam the 1000Free in 13:33.70 and improved in
the W13-14 200Back to finish in 2:50.73 and 200Fly in 2:58.33.
Florham Park
sisters Amanda and Chrissy Wisolmerski improved in all of their
events. Amanda’s 2:33.37 was good for a 3rd Place in the
W11-12 200Free. She also improved to 2:56.24 in the W12&U 200IM
and 3:22.50 in the 200Breast. Austyn Zaug had a strong showing and
cut 32.74 from the M13-14 200Breast and improved to 3:34.21 in the
200IM. Leanne Zaug competed in the W13-14 200Free, 200Back and 200IM.
From Montville,
Ryan Wyer improved in all events and earned Silver Times in the
M11-12 200Free for 3rd Place & 500 Free, M11-12 200IM
and M11-12 200 Breast.
The Elite Swim
Club sponsored the Distance Derby at the 25Yard Pool facility. 300
athletes from 5 NJ Swim Clubs took part in the meet. The Morris
County Swim Club has 140 active members and is a year-round NJ
Swimming / USA Swimming Club team but also has a variety of
short-length programs available for competitive swimmers ages 6 –
