TIMING
ASSIGNMENTS SATURDAY & SUNDAY AFTERNOON SESSIONS
The 1st
timer on the list must report to the timing desk and sign in at least 40
minutes before the start of the session. BAC will provide all watches. Cell
phone use while timing is strictly prohibited and all cell phones must be
silenced.

Notes
from the meet host:
A few reminders:
1. Please,
no glass containers in the Sonny Weblin Recreation Center. This is a
Rutgers rule.
2. In the morning and afternoon: All bags must
go in the gym. There is not enough room in the pool area for
swimmers to reserve "permanent" seats. The first three rows of
the bleachers are for swimmers only (no parents) and swimmers may not sit in
the higher seats. Swimmers should expect to spend most of their time in
the gym. Parents may bring chairs to set up and sit in in the gym.
Last weekend at the 13 and over Silver/Bronze meet, numerous phones, ipods and
wallets were stolen from the gym at Rutgers. Swim bags are not allowed in
the pool area during the morning and afternoon JO sessions so swimmers must be
careful with their possessions. Consider putting a small lock on your bag
or having a friend or parent hold your valuables while you swim.
3. We will have marshals in the gym noting the
events so that swimmers will not miss their heats. Please remind your
swimmers that they cannot claim a seat in the stands during the morning and
afternoon sessions. No ball throwing or rough play in the gym.
Swimmers are limited to the first 3 rows of bleachers and should not be
sitting in the upper stands.
4. Parents may not save seats or block off
seats. Seating is always very tight and parents can not save blocks of
seats for friends.
5. Parents are only allowed on deck if they
are working at the meet. Please emphasize this to your parents. The
only exceptions are if you are timing or officiating at right then!! No
other exceptions!!
6. We have some really cool 2011 NJJO pins for
sale at admissions!
We're expecting 1600 swimmers and almost 7000 splashes.
I'm sure it will be a fun and fast meet. Look forward to seeing you
on deck!
